Originally built as a fire station, this historic property in downtown Providence had seen its fair share of tenants over the years. Before our client had taken over the unit, the space had most recently been an eclectic Thai restaurant. Wanting to create an upscale dining experience, it was essential to our client that the dining area’s design match the same level of sophistication as the cuisine.
Rather than keep it at the building’s facade, the restaurant’s entrance was relocated to the adjacent alley, subtly shaping the guest’s experience by gently shepherding them to a more intimate entry. As they enter, guests are met with a handsome paneled bar. The extensive bar not only helps maximize seating but also highlights the restaurant’s offerings and the craft of the chefs and bartenders. Warm wood tones paired with decorative brass lighting and bold color schemes add richness and worldliness to the space. And the final touch? Custom bi-fold doors perch in the focal stone archways, perfect for creating an authentic European dining experience. Buon appetito!
