An Inside Look at How Our Team Decorates For the Holidays

We’re so excited to be bringing you this wonderful blog post filled with our teams holiday spirit. Our clients warmly welcome us into their homes, so we wanted to return the favor! This time of year we spend more time indoors, loving our homes and the comfort they offer. Fill your mug with something warm, sit back, and take a stroll through some truly enchanting spaces.

Bridget

“It’s pretty much the same every year, but it grows. We’re still a younger family, I’d like to think. I was looking back at pictures from, you know, five years ago, and it was the same sort of vibe but with a lot less stuff. Every year we collect more ornaments and more things, so it continues to evolve, but it’s been the same vibe. I have three kids; six, four, and two, and they love decorations—they get so excited. So it’s really about them. Plus, I love the color red, so I’m happy to have more splashes of it.”

Happy St Lucia Day! PC Kirsten wears a newer AG crown wreath. AG Kirsten wears the old PC crown. Difference in fluffiness is significant. Also tinsel hair (left) vs. newish hair. :
A noted visual of Bridget’s holiday decor inspiration. You’ll notice the similarities in the photo of the dining room

Chris

Nestled on a couple of acres of farmland, this setup and that view is the definition of wholesome!

Justin T

What an incredible lightshow! If this doesn’t instill some holiday cheer in you, what will!?

Niko

First, we have to acknowledge this pup! What a gorgeous girl. With the snow outside, the guitar, this looks like such a special and welcoming space. Perfect for a winter evening cozied up inside.

“The St. Nick and sand prism are handmade by one of our family’s best friends in Georgia—Chris, a talented craftsman and stained-glass artist. The prism holds sand from the beach where Minna and I were married in Provincetown (my mom officiated). She brought the sand back to GA, and Chris turned it into the prism. We put those out every year.

As for the tree: when the boys were little and we all moved in together, one of our first holiday traditions was picking a tree and choosing ornaments—one per person, each year. Most are labeled with the year and who chose it, so decorating is basically a stroll through family history. It’s even sweeter now that the boys are starting to leave the nest… and this year we decorated with only one of the three at home :)”

Vivian

A cozy and well-coordinated scene. The stairs are a perfect place to showcase those wonderful stockings and we love those glass-filled ornaments!

Dana

Dana works remotely as the Red House controller, could you guess that remote location might be Vermont? How cozy does this look! From the fireplace to the pup, we’re ready to take a snooze.

Veronica

A beautiful balance of color and warmth! From the beautifully decorated tree to the stacks of design books, it’s clear that this home is a lovingly curated space.

Tyler

This one brings us back to that magical feeling that the holidays bring when we’re kids. Having just welcomed a baby boy to the family in October, and a toddler already at home, we can tell this home holds a lot of that magic!

Julia

We love the little accents of personality and color, and we love your bear collection! This looks like a fantastic spot for a nice hot toddy and a chat by the fire. Equal parts cozy and chic.

Marc

Well, this one is just plain fun to look at. The closer you look, the more you see! It’s full of surprises. Not to mention, it’s delightfully balanced, yet layered! Marc, we’re impressed.

Jules

I’m inspired by Ralph Lauren and classic New England themes. I love to incorporate the colors, textures, and prints all year round. The holidays get to be particularly fun and expressive! We opted for a white pine this year after many blue spruces, and I love it! We couldn’t find our ornaments before I took this photo, so the tree is still a bit bare.

Daniel

Another fun space full of personality and items that likely hold wonderful memories. We love the elements of design and artwork that express your love for the design and build industry!

Courtney

“Sharing the only space that’s fully decorated for my Grinch-loving kiddo!”

With a toddler at home, Courtney works to make the holiday season a joyous time for her son, and her love for design shines through even here. The Grinch slippers are the perfect touch!

Maribel

Vibrant, warm, and inviting! The winter village scenes are always some of our favorites to look at. The white tree has us wanting to try one out next year!

Kathy

From the beautiful vignette of the golden reindeer to the tree filled with gifts, this home is filled with joy and clearly a lifetime of memories! We feel at home just looking at it.

Greg

“We always have multiple trees, but one is always very whimsical and holds a lot of memories, because we travel a lot, and we buy ornaments as we go. They represent things we enjoy doing in life. I think that holiday decor should enhance your existing aesthetic and environment. So, I choose things that kind of go with the furnishings and fixtures that are currently in the house. For the exterior, I really am inspired by the Peanuts and Charlie Brown, you know, the colorful lights, but this is the first year we did white lights outside and it has grown on me”

Aaron

This is a great representation that a little goes a long way! This looks like the perfect place to call home on a chilly December night! Cozy lights, a wreath, what more could you ask for?

Happy holidays from our team!

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to get to know our team a little better. Stay tuned for what we may share next, we are a creative bunch so you never know what it may be!
